Collaboration with Brisbane craft beer royalty, Newstead Brewing Co to honour the memory of the Australia’s most renowned professor, Sir Fred Schonell. This limited edition pilsner was labelled and packaged in their flagship brewery in Milton.

Sir Fred - internationally recognised academic and founding professor of education at University of Queensland - was said to often be found in the University’s Great Court during his lunch break, mingling with students and smoking his pipe. This prolific and esteemed academic was known for having a playful side, and we wanted to represent that in the beers design while maintaining the poised, polished and sharp look he maintained.
