Leukaemia Foundation

The Leukaemia Foundation had recently undergone significant change when I joined in early 2021. After a national merger and brand re-fresh, what followed was a period of huge growth and learning.

I was excited to be a part of the re-birth of one of Australia’s most treasured national charities, and was honoured to take up the challenge of building on it’s fresh new identity; to share it with our valued supporters, and use our new voice to communicate with the blood cancer community.

The core brand was used as a blueprint to create visual identities for a whole host of new projects, such as Talking Blood Cancer (the first ever podcast created specifically to offer support for people living with blood cancer), regular giving programmes, and member update comms. And while new frontiers were being reached, legacy products were also in need of some love and attention.

The range of support offered by the Foundation is endless, and as such, so were the design solutions needed to help promote them. From animated scientific explainer videos, to in-depth disease information booklets; from social-bites to political advocacy campaigns: no stone was left unturned.

It has been the privilege of my career to work with such a dedicated cohort of health care professionals, logistics ninjas, communication geniuses, and support co-ordinating heroes to tell the public - and those in need - all about the life-saving services on offer at the Leukaemia Foundation.
